We recommend that your pets be on year round parasite preventative. Many people like to think that because in the winter the temperature drops, and so do the pests; however, this is not always the case. Fleas like to live in your carpet and mosquitos (that transfer heartworm) can live in your house quietly and comfortably all winter long. This can be bad news for your pet (and you) if they are not protected.

Cats & Kittens
We highly recommend Revolution© from Pfizer for your feline friends. This product alone will protect your kitty from fleas, heartworms, ear mites, roundworms and hookworms. Not only does it prevent your cat from getting these pests, but it also treats any roundworm, hookworm, and ear mite infestations your cat might already have. This product can be used in kittens 8 weeks of age or older. Revolution© is a topical product, meaning it's a liquid you place on the skin between the shoulder blades. |
Dogs & Puppies Heartgard© and Frontline Plus© from Merial are two of our top products available for your dog. Combined, these products will protect your dog from 3 of the 4 life-cycles of fleas, ticks, heartworms, roundworm and hookworms. Heartgard© is a beef flavored chew that your dog will think is a treat! Frontline Plus© is applied as a topical. We also offer Interceptor© by Novartis as an alternative to Heargard©. It is a beef flavored tablet that also protects against heartworms, roundworms, and hookworms, but adds protection against whipworms. We also have Revolution© available for dogs - this product combines protection against heartworms, fleas, and ticks in a convenient topical application.

All products we offer are available for both cats & dogs of all sizes.
It is both highly recommended and required that your dog is updated yearly on his heartworm test before purchasing/taking any heartworm preventative. This test is not required for cats, however, a yearly exam is recommended.
